Produktfamilie erweitert und in neuer Struktur

VARTA Storage erweitertet seine Produktfamilie der Heimspeicher für Privathaushalte. Neu hinzu kommt VARTA pulse. Der kleine, kompakte Wandspeicher ist in zwei Leistungsklassen erhältlich: 3,3 Kilowattstunden (kWh) und 6,5 kWh. „Einfach, preiswert und dabei qualitativ hochwertig – das ist pulse. Perfekt für alle, die höchste Energiedichte platzsparend bündeln möchten“, sagt Herbert Schein, CEO der VARTA AG.

Erstmals zu sehen gibt es die Neuheit auf der Intersolar in München vom 31. Mai bis 2. Juni 2017 am VARTA-Stand in Halle B1, Stand 210. Zudem erweitert das Unternehmen die erfolgreiche element-Serie um VARTA element 12 und benennt VARTA home und VARTA family in VARTA one L und VARTA one XL um. „Damit haben wir unser Produktportfolio nun optimal an die verschiedensten Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden angepasst“, meint Schein weiter.

VARTA pulse ist in nur 30 Minuten dank Plug & Play einsatzfähig und kann mit allen Quellen grüner Energie kombiniert werden. Mit Abmessungen von 60 x 69 x 18,5 Zentimetern ist er auch im kleinsten Raum unterzubringen. VARTA pulse 3 mit einer Kapazität von 3,3 kWh wiegt gerade einmal 45 Kilogramm. Der größere VARTA pulse 6 hat eine Kapazität von 6,5 kWh und ein Gewicht von 65 Kilogramm. Die erfolgreiche VARTA element-Serie als Komplettsystem mit integriertem Wechselrichter und Batteriemanagementsystem gibt es nun auch mit 13 kWh Kapazität. VARTA element 12 macht es möglich. Die kleineren element 3, 6 und 9 sind weiterhin mit Nachrüst-Sets modular erweiterbar – je nach Kundenanforderung.

VARTA one L und XL

Aus VARTA home und VARTA family wurde one L und one XL. Die Batteriekapazität lässt sich hier individuell je nach Anforderung von 2,8 kWh bis 13,8 kWh skalieren und das in 0,5 kWh-Schritten. Die notstromfähigen Speicher sind für höchste Ansprüche konzipiert und bieten dabei größtmögliche Flexibilität.

Mehrstufiges Sicherheitskonzept

Sicherheit, Qualität und Zuverlässigkeit haben bei VARTA Storage höchste Priorität. Das Traditionsunternehmen investiert viel in Forschung und Entwicklung, um mit dem Knowhow in der Batterie-Entwicklung stets einen Schritt voraus zu sein. Die VARTA-Speicher verfügen über ein mehrstufiges Sicherheitskonzept, was sie besonders zuverlässig macht. In der Zelle, im Zell-Pack, im Batteriemodul und im Gesamtsystem greifen verschiedene Sicherheitsmechanismen. 130 Jahre Batterie-Expertise sind in die Produktentwicklungen der Energiespeicher eingeflossen.

Energieverbrauch auf einen Blick

Alle VARTA-Energiespeichersysteme können mit PV-Datenloggern und Smart Grid- oder Smart Home-Anwendungen kommunizieren. VARTA Connect heißt das virtuelle System. Im Onlineportal oder über die eigene VARTA Storage App haben Kunden den direkten Zugriff auf tagesaktuelle Daten der Anlage in übersichtlichen Grafiken und Statistiken.

Extended product family with a new structure

VARTA Storage expands its product family of energy storage systems for private households with the addition of VARTA pulse. The small, compact energy storage system is available in two classes: 3.3 kilowatt hour (kWh) and 6.5 kWh. “Easy, affordable but of high quality – this is pulse. It’s perfect for all those who want to bundle the highest energy-density into the minimum space”, says Herbert Schein, CEO of VARTA AG.

The new release can be seen for the first time at the Intersolar exhibition in Munich from the 31st to the 2nd of May 2017 at the VARTA stand in hall B1, booth 210. In addition, the company is expanding its successful element line with VARTA element 12 and will rename the VARTA home and VARTA family as VARTA one L and VARTA one XL. “In doing so, we have adapted our product portfolio to the various needs of our customers”, Schein explains.

Through Plug & Play VARTA pulse is operational within 30 minutes and can be paired to all sources of green energy. With compact dimensions of 60 x 69 x 18.5 centimetres it even fits in the smallest space. VARTA pulse 3 with a capacity of 3.3 kWh only weights 45 kilograms. The larger VARTA pulse 6 has a capacity of 6.5 kWh and a weight of 65 kilograms. The successful VARTA element line with integrated power inverter and battery management system is now also available with a range-topping capacity of 13 kWh. The new VARTA element 12 makes it possible. The smaller element 3, 6 and 9 are still module-expandable with retrofit kits – depending on each individual customer’s needs.

VARTA one L and XL

VARTA home and VARTA family have been renamed as one L and one XL. Depending on what is needed, the battery capacity can be individually scaled in 0.5 kWh-steps from 2.8 kWh to 13.8 kWh. These energy storage systems, offering emergency power, are designed for the highest demands and thereby offer maximum flexibility.

Multi-stage safety concept

Safety, quality and reliability have the highest priority for VARTA Storage. Through intensive investment in research and development the long-standing company always strives to be one step ahead in regard to battery development knowhow. The multi-stage safety concept makes VARTA energy storage systems especially reliable. In the cell, in the cell pack, in the battery module and in the whole system different security mechanisms are in place. In total, 130 years of battery expertise cumulate in the product development of the energy storage systems.

Energy consumption at a glance

All VARTA energy storage systems can communicate with PV data loggers and smart grid or smart home applications. The name of this virtual system is VARTA Connect. In the online portal or with the VARTA Storage App customers can directly access up-to-date data of the system in clear graphics and statistics.
